Important Notes

• Scope of supply: Geyser cylinder with electric backup. Solar collectors or vacuum tubes, mounting frames, circulation pump, controls and installation materials are not included as a complete system. Kwikot specifies a temperature and pressure safety valve and drain cock with the water heater; confirm the supplied accessory pack.
• Frost protection: Use the manufacturer-specified propylene glycol mixture. Do not fill the collector circuit with water alone. The potable-water pressure rating is 400kPa; the indirect circuit requires its separately specified 100kPa expansion relief protection.
• Installation: Use a suitably qualified solar water heating installer and electrician. Follow SANS 10106, SANS 10254 and Kwikot's instructions. Thermosyphon circulation requires the cylinder above the collectors; other layouts may need a pump and controller. Assess the structure for the filled system weight.
• Maintenance: Arrange annual servicing and replace glycol every two years as recommended in the linked brochure. Keep safe access for servicing.

• Warranty: Five years on the inner cylinder, flange assembly and gasket; one year on electrical components; two years on the drain cock and safety valve.
