The battery is made of ultra safe lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells sealed in a durable plastic enclosure making it water and dust resistant (IP65). The unit can also be mounted in any position. The battery has a lifespan of 3000-8000 cycles, warrantied for 3 years, with a design life of 5 – 10 years @ 0.2C charging or discharging.
