Similar to the MultiPlus-II, the Quattro-II is also a combined inverter and charger. Additionally, it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its many features include a true sine-wave inverter, adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist® technology plus multiple system-integration features such as three- or split- phase operation and parallel operation.
Two AC Inputs & Two AC Outputs
The Quattro-II can be connected to two independent AC sources—shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. It will automatically switch to whichever source is active. The main output has no-break functionality: if the grid or generator power fails, the Quattro-II takes over supply to the loads in under 20 ms, so computers and sensitive electronics continue running seamlessly. The secondary output is live only when AC is present on one of the inputs, ideal for loads (e.g. water heaters or air-conditioning) that shouldn’t discharge the battery.
Unique PowerAssist® Feature
To prevent overload of a limited AC source (generator or shore power), the Quattro-II will first reduce battery charging, then, if needed, draw extra power from the battery to boost the AC supply—covering short-term peaks without interruption.
Parallel & Three-Phase Operation
Up to six Quattro-II units can run in parallel for virtually unlimited power output. Three-phase or split-phase configurations are also supported—perfect for large off-grid installations, marine vessels or mobile applications requiring scalable, robust power.
Solar & Hybrid Energy Integration
Compatible with solar charge controllers and grid-tie inverters, the Quattro-II delivers AC power even during grid outages. It seamlessly integrates into both off-grid and grid-connected PV systems, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
On-Site & Remote Monitoring
Local setup: Configure in minutes with VEConfigure software (MK3-USB interface). Monitoring options: Cerbo GX, Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, Bluetooth (with VE.Bus Smart dongle), Battery Monitor, Digital Multi Control Panel. Remote access: Connect a Cerbo GX or other GX product to the internet for free VRM monitoring, data logging and remote configuration via Victron Remote Management.
