ITS : ITS Pumpkit 4B : Pump Kits

Pump kit 4B is a top of the range pump kit for ITS evacuated and flat plate collectors. It runs of 220Vac and provides temperature differential pumping, tank over temperature protection, freeze protection, intelligent geyser element control and battery backup. It also features a backlit LCD display showing the system status and temperatures.

Where to use: This kit is ideal for clients looking for a top range installation. It features easy installation, high performance and trouble free operation. Because the controller has a backup battery it is ideal for areas where power failures during daytime are frequent and lengthy.

This kit includes an ITS-12VDC hot water circulation pump with integrated SR868C6-12V solar system controller, a geyser element relay, 220Vac - 12Vdc battery charger, 12v 7AH battery and a non-return valve. The purpose of this kit would be to drastically reduce your grid electricity usage from your geyser by obtaining additional hot water generated from your solar water heater. It is recommended you set your geyser thermostat to a minimum required hot water temperature. The pump is powered by the battery, and is intelligently controlled by the SR868C6 controller to provide instant hot water throughout your household. The controller also directs instructions to the geyser element relay to provide hot water when the sun does not shine.

The ITS-12Vdc hot water circulation pump is can be used wherever a highly efficient circulation pump is needed without a connection to an AC power supply. This pump is characterised by its small size, high efficiency, very low power consumption, maintenance free, quiet service life and its MPP (Maximum Power Point) tracking. 

The SR868C6 solar system controller is capable of controlling multiple geysers with East West facing solar panels. It also functions as a top range geyser element timer with temperature triggered timing windows. This is a powerful function as it alone can save you between 20 - 40% on your electricity bill. The controller can also control the hot water circulation loop to provide instant hot water throughout your household.
