The GeezerDuvet is made from top quality insulation all manufactured in South Africa. The 100% non-woven polyester insulation is non-toxic, maintenance-free, contains no fibreglass and is eco- and people-friendly. It retains its thickness and complies with C.S.I.R. building technology fire propagation requirements. The insulation material has a melting point of 250°C .

To ensure maximum efficiency, the insulation material is covered in high-quality plastic in order to keep it free from dust, enhance its insulation properties and make it easier to install. The plastic has a melting point of 180°C.

Also included is the energy-saving PipeDuvet (manufactured to the same high standards) which is used to cover the critical first 2 metres of hot water pipe from the geyser and the last 1 metre of cold water pipe to the geyser.

Our products are supplied in a standard pack containing 4 GeezerDuvet panels, (1500mm X 600mm), 3 PipeDuvet panels (1200mm X 200mm) and items required for fitting the GeezerDuvet. This should adequately cover most commercially available geysers ranging from 50 litres to 250 litres, both rectangular box as well as cylindrical geysers.

Custom made packs can be made up on request within certain limits. Special PipeDuvet packs can also be made up particular pipe insulation requirements including Solar Water Heater pipes.

Note: This product in an indoor insulation solution. It is not suitable for exposure to direct sunlight and weathering.
