Quick Overview

These eco-friendly coffee cups are produced in an environmentally responsible way. Unlike traditional paper cups which use petroleum-based plastic lining, these cups make use of a corn-based lining called PLA (Polylactic Acid) with paper from FSC managed plantations.

These cups can be composted in a commercial composting facility. However, should the end up in a landfill, they still offer environmental benefits, such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions and reduced dependence on fossil fuels. They will eventually decompose, but ideally, we recommend that the compost bin is their final destination, wherever possible, to ensure that the earth’s mineral cycle continues as efficiently as possible.
