Roses are red, violets are blue…?
As far as symbols of everlasting love go, flowers that die after two weeks are not an encouraging omen. So why not be unique and plant a tree or two this Valentine’s Day. They last for ages, weather the elements and are virtually indestructible. How’s that for a metaphor of true love?
In the 30th driest country in the world, and where half of our country’s water goes down the drain, water conservation is imperative, so be water wise when tending to that foliage.
